Publishing My 1st Book

Hello, It’s me again, Jennifer. So, you’re probably wondering, ‘Why is she talking about publishing her 1st book?’ Well, the answer is quite simple. The reason is that publishing my first book was a nightmare. Yes, I said it. Nightmare. Why, you ask? Because I was far from having my manuscript where it needed to be to publish. I was in dreamland without paddles, and when Extasy Books, the e-book publishing company that I work with, picked me up, they loved the concept of my book and the first few chapters, but once they got into the ‘meat and bones’ of the story, it was a mess. That is disastrous if I am going to be completely honest.

So, I am here to walk you through, step by step, what you need to do to get your book ready to publish. Then, I will give you a few tips and tricks I have learned along the way. Why? Because I don’t want anyone to have to go through what I went through. It took me two years after Extasy Books got their hands on my book to get it publish-ready and let me tell you, I was completely exhausted, mentally and physically.
